August Update

Well, we have a had a fun month of August at home. Here are some pictures of the fun we have had!

P is going to be our mischief man! At least he is cute!

This was P's first time at the Trail Center and out of a stroller. He was in heaven! His favorite thing were the oxen. He couldn't get enough of them.

We are a little late with the whole 2 wheeler thing, but Victoria is officially zooming around the track now. She rode a mile on Monday morning. She so excited about it!

Visit From Family

My Brother and his wife and their kids came out for a visit. D's sister also lives out here in Omaha. They treated us to a zoo trip. It was a hot and busy day, but it was a lot of fun.

We even got to see the new baby seal.

Trail Center with Family

We all got to go to the Mormon Trail Center together too. The kids had fun dressing up as Pioneers. It was a good spiritual trip.

Water Balloon Fight

R found some water balloons at the store and suggested a water fight. The kids jumped on that one. They had a blast!

Fun at the Sprinkler Park

V was begging me to take her to the sprinkler park. She had to earn it though. She was a very good girl. Then she spent the whole time there helping her brother through the water. What a great sister. They loved it. P didn't want to leave.

P's Birthday Party

P's birthday party was so much fun. We had a few babies and some family come out. The favorite thing was the balls in the pool. Even the older kids like them.

New Addition to the Family

Well, I was lucky again. I sat down at my computer 4 minutes after she posted this amazing piano on Freecycle. It was built in 1880. It is made out of endangered rose wood. It has the original ivory keys. We learned that if we were to have it restored it would be worth $30,000-$40,000. We really love having a piano in our home and a free one is the best way to go, right?
