A Special Night...

Tonight is the daddy daughter date. V is pretty excited about it. We found this amazing $300 dress at a consignment store for $13 in November. It has been so hard seeing it in her closet and not being able to wear it. I let her wear my pearls and her daddy got her a corsage. She is in daddy princess heaven! I hope they have an absolute blast!

P is a big boy!

This little man is finally doing it! We had a good day today. I am not sure why he feels the need to hold a finger or two up in every picture lately...and the tongue...silly boy!
I had to edit this because I thought it was worth sharing. He put sisters boots on and was going around saying he was his sister and he thought it was pretty hilarious that he was going potty in her boots.

Crazy 14" of snow!

We got so much snow, especially after our 68 degrees! V played in it for 8 hours on Thursday! The kids are excited. V and the neighbor boy built a mini snowman. It was powder and not so sticky so it was tough building snowman. It was amazing to watch the snow pile up on the playset throughout the day.

A Little Sewing Time

V was so proud of herself. She made a little bag and it turned out pretty darn good! Isn't she SO pretty!!!

68 degrees...We had to go outside!

It was 68 degrees, so we headed out after church. We went to Cotton Mill and had a lot of fun walking around and playing in the sand at the bottom of the empty pond. I was a great day!

Our first play!

We got the blessing of being included in the free performance of Imago Zoo Zoo at the Merryman Performing Arts Center. The kids loved it. They invited the homeschoolers to participate. This is V with a couple of her homeschool friends we met at the park last summer. It was a lot of fun.
P was not in the mood to smile for the camera at all, little stinker. He had to leave the house wearing his superhero cape though. Whenever he sees this picture he says "There's your grumpy boy."
