I have been gone for a while. A lot has happened the last couple weeks. R went out of town to a conference for the planning commision. He was gone Tuesday through Friday. I decided I wanted to go to the scrapbooking night at the church that Friday. Both R and I said we weren't sure that it was a good idea to go out that night. It was snowing. I do not like driving in the snow! The weather man said 1-3 inches so I figured I was okay. Well I was a block away from the church and tried to make the turn to go into the neighborhood. Well, I hit a patch of ice or something and the car slid and slammed into a curb by the stop sign. I succeeded in ruining the suspension on the drivers side. I was lucky I was able to move it to the curb out of the way of traffic. So a week later and $950 poorer, we got the car back on Friday. Bye bye tax return!
I learned a very valuable lesson from this. Listen to the spirit. I believe both R and I were told it would not be a good idea for me to leave in the snow. Well...
I was looking for the camera this week to download the pictures from the last 2 months. I forgot that R had it in his church bag. Well, now that I know where it is I will work on posting something a little more fun and exciting.

I am so afraid to drive in the snow... it's to the point that I will ask for a ride to work before I get out and try to do it myself...
Sorry to hear about your accident... bummer, but at least you were fine and no harm done there.
DRIVE SAFE!! :-)
I am sorry. I hope you are doing well, inspite of that snowy experience. It is good to hear from you.
Glad you were okay and the only damage was to the car and to the wallet (not that those don't hurt too, but they're much better than you or the baby being hurt!) Thanks for sharing your insight!
Oh, that is terrible! I HATE driving in the snow...I had an accident in my first snowy winter. NO fun. I am very glad to hear that you are okay though.
Yikes! Glad you're okay.
