September Review

Here is a review of the events that happened in September.

I have to share what V told me last night. I was getting frustrated and I told her I was running out of patience with her. She said "Well, go and find your patience mommy." I couldn't keep from laughing. Then one night she was hungry so daddy took her some apples with the skins on. She said, while holding out the apple, "Daddy this is not going to work. I need the skins off." You have love what kids say! It is so hard to keep a straight face sometimes! :)

Papa brought us some buckets for our food storage and V helped Daddy wash them. She is such a good helper.

When Papa came back out for P's blessing we went to the lake for a walk and we collected some Elderberries. It has been a long time since we have had any. I am planning on making some jelly. Yummy! We had a lot of fun! What a great day and nice weather.

One day it got so quiet in the house I went to check on V and this is what I found. I think this is the best getup she has even done. She has on her white Sunday shoes, her pink leotard with her green Tinker Bell skirt and her rain coat. So funny!
Daddy was home when it started to rain and it was warm enough so they ran outside and played in it! So fun when the weather is warm enough for it!

Two soaked cuties! So much fun!

Fun picture of P at the ice cream parlor!
We started a new discipline system with V. She earns tickets and when she gets enough she gets to buy fun things to do. She decided she wanted some ice cream and the having her nails polished at home. These are the best ice cream pictures! This was after I had wiped her face a coupe times so it wouldn't drip. :)

Daddy decided that he was going to be the one to give V a pedicure this time. She had a blast! Daddy doing nails is a lot more fun than Mommy!

I love her posing faces! Silly girl! They had a lot of fun together.
V decided that dance would be okay this year. She was a little timid the first day, but after that she loved it! I don't even have to sit down there, she wants to be independent and do it on her own. She comes home and shows Daddy all of the new stuff she learns each week.
Our little ballerina!
One morning I was feeding P in the bedroom after doing some laundry and found this when I came into the living room. This is not just a laundry basket, but a hamper that comes to her ribs when she is standing by it. So silly! She was singing to her baby.
I just loved this picture. She looks so serious! Too cute!
