First Day of Spring

V and I have been waiting for this day for a long time. This winter has been too long and very cold! I am still having a hard time adjusting to the winters out here. I miss having the protection of the mountains. The wind chill makes it terribly cold! Everyday V would say spring is at our house or coming to our house today mommy. It is so hard to explain some concepts to little kids. She is so cute. We have a bunch of dresses for the for the spring and summer and she is so anxious to wear them all. Today, the first day of spring, is supposed to be in the 60's. We are going to enjoy every minute of it today! We planted blubs earlier this week, but believe me there is a lot of work to do on this yard. The former owners of the house owned their own nursery, but you would never guess it from the condition of the yard. Maybe they were tired of doing yard work by the time they got home; like the cook who doesn't want to cook after they have cooked all day.

Today is also Aunt Tammy's birthday! Happy Birthday!

On Monday night we went to Grandma & Grandpa house to see V's two cousins: J & B. Both are much bigger, but V LOVES to play with them. They were running around the house and came into the living room. V tripped on the carpet and fell right into the coffee table. She hit the edge of it along the bridge of her nose. She didn't get as bad of a bruise as I thought. Poor girl cried hard, she really got hurt. You can kind of see it in the picture.

We went for a walk today and played outside. I wish it was spring and fall all the time. We collected pictures for daddy's campaign today. Then we stopped at our little trailer of a library. We love being in a small town! It is wonderful!
