Really Not Green Now

R has been working hard on our front lawn. He is determined to get some green grass up there. If you have seen the pictures of our lawn from July last year and the one I posted below you can see that it was pretty rough. Well, R put gypsum and lime stone down last fall because the ground was so hard that the tiller only scratched the surface. He put more down early this spring and between that and the moisture from the snow melt he was able to till it. He then seeded the ground. I hope it works. It was a lot of work for him. I helped, but when you have a toddler out there with you it is hard to get a lot done. Here are the pictures of July and the present. Like the title of this post it is not really green now, I hope it will be shortly.

That sounds like an adventure, poor Roland. Hopefully he will reap the reward with a beautiful lawn.

We had to completely tear till up our backyard at our first home. It will be so worth it when you have a beautiful green yard. We remodeled everything in our first home and i think it is why we miss it soo much! All the hard work is worth it. Enjoy your first home!
