Well, V is officially 3! She is potty trained, sleeping in a big bed, and thinks she is such a big girl now. She won't even let me call her my baby anymore.
Here are some cute pictures from her birthday party on Saturday. We had a great turn out. The kids had a lot of fun.
We decorated princess and prince crowns. They got their costumes; skirts for the girls and knight tunics for the boys. Thankfully these were easy to make. The hand beading on V's costume took some time. I think her dress turned out adorable though. It is all fabric I had laying around. (nice & inexpensive!) Then they played pin the crown on the frog. Only 3 kids wanted to be blindfolded. Then they had cake and ice cream and V opened her presents. Afterwards they all played in the yard in the playhouse and on the slide. They all seemed to have a great time. It went well. V is still begging for another party, so I know she enjoyed it.

That is so fun! Did you make all their costumes? What a great idea.
I love the cake.
I found your blog through my SIL and rother Clark and Maryann. I wanted to say I LOVE your cake. My daughter will be 3 at the end of the month and I think she would flip out for a cake like that. Can you possibly leave me a comment (or respond here) where you got the doll and cake pan and how long it took?
Great blog and adorable daughter.
Thanks for the directions. I will have to improvise. I will attempt it though (because to buy one from the grocery store made is over $45)
Clark is my next younger brother (there are 6 of us kids). Maryann is my SIL.
Thank you again.
Looks like a great party. Happy birthday Victoria! She is looking awfully grown up, but they will always be our babies huh!
