I wanted to say happy father's day to the two most important men in my life.
R has been forever changed since V came into this world. He has stepped up and become a wonderful daddy. He takes her out on daddy daughter dates and even when he is tired and walking in the door at night he still makes sure she gets time with daddy. His favorite thing is walking in the door and hearing her running from wherever she was yelling daddy! Daddy is home! It makes the struggles of everyday life more bearable I am sure. He comes up with these rough housing games just to hear that amazing little kid chuckle of pure joy. To think, he can get that laugh just throwing pillows at her. :) The other night we played "scallywag", and of course mommy was the scallywag. We just kept throwing a ball at each other (soft one) and laughing our heads off. They had to use a pirate voice of course. He is getting excited and nervous about having a son and all the added responsibility. I am sure he will do fine. He is a great daddy! Thank you for sacrificing so much for us! We love you daddy!
My dad is the other man that is so important to me. He has made me who I am. If he had not been there for me MANY, MANY, MANY times, who knows where I would be today, probably not here with Roland and my precious children. He has influenced me beyond what a father needs to. He knows what I need, he is a listening ear in those challenging times. He still takes care of me. He came out when V was born and was the most amazing help. I am so glad that he will be able to come out when P is born also. Victoria also loves her Papa. She misses him and talks about him all the time. Papa is one of those men that LOVES his grandchildren and gets down and plays with them. I love it. He has sacrificed so much for us kids over the years. Thank you for being my daddy! I love you!
