I know I have not posted a lot lately. With 4 weeks to go until the baby gets here, I have been keeping myself pretty busy. R says that I am nesting. I guess so. I have been sewing up a storm and still have P's blessing outfit and a diaper bag left to sew. I have cleaned V's room completely out and am working on the office. We also cleaned out the basement and took a FULL car load of stuff to Goodwill. It has been slow going given my condition, but I feel like I have accomplished a lot. It feels good to get things done.
The most important thing that has happen recently is R took the LSAT on Monday. He feels pretty good about it. Of course they make you wait 3 grueling weeks for the results. He has also finally got things straightened out with Bellevue University and will be receiving his BS in CIS shortly. Needless to say we will not be recommending Bellevue University to anyone in the future. We are so proud of him for all of his hard work and accomplishments. We love you Daddy!
This has been R's spring project this year. The former owners had a great idea to build this awful retaining wall in the backyard with broken concrete. Since we have been here it has shifted quiet a lot. R has been digging it out and hauling it to the driveway until we can get a truck to get rid of it. He has now tilled the ridges into a nice slope and we are working on getting some grass growing. It looks so much better already.
R and V love to go down to the track at the school and run. V is going to be our little long distance runner. She can run a mile straight with 1/4 mile breaks for water. It is amazing to watch her. I am so glad that they can share in something physical together. Plus R has lost over 30 lbs this year.
R and V had another wonderful Daddy Daughter date at the Trail Center. It is so fun to go when they can go outside. I think she took at least 30 pictures of the flowers this time. So much fun!
V decided one day that she wanted to marry daddy. She was very persistent about it. She went and got on her prettiest dress up and I "married" them, some how or another. This picture and video is of their wedding dance. It was so cute and daddy was flattered that she wanted to marry him. :)
Daddy made a valid attempt to fulfill V's request to fix her hair, one morning that we were lucky enough to have him home. It is so sweet to see him try to fix it and be so gentle. I realized that I can be rough sometimes. :) Mommy ended up completing it. Thanks for trying Daddy!
Daddy and V decided to wash the car. They did a very good job. V loved every minute of it, especially being drenched with the hose after it was all done! She loves the water. It doesn't matter if it is 60 outside, she will still run through that sprinkler! And finally for all of you bug-a-phobs. R discovered this nasty thing making it's way up the stair wall the other night. It was about 2-3". So gross! We found out it was a house centipede. They eat spiders. No wonder we have had less spiders in the basement this year. I guess when we cleaned out the basement we disturbed it and scared away it's food. I am just glad we found it on the stairs on not in our rooms or bed! Yikes! Nasty!

AHH! House centipedes are all over Pittsburgh (where we moved from last summer). I thought I was free from them for good! I can't believe they made it to Nebraska too! We call them "beasties" at our house. Most awful bug ever!
